* 8: Annual Meeting: 6:00 pm Morgan County Soil & Water Conservation District (Administration Bldg. Sadler Room 180 S. Main) RSVP to our office at 765-349-2060.

*13: Great Backyard Bird Count Workshop: (GBBC): This is a training for how to conduct the count, post data, & identify common birds for the four day event (FEB. 17-20, 2012). Workshop: 6:00-7:30 pm: Morgan Co. Public Library. Register by calling 765-349-2060.

*14th: SWCD Board Meeting 8:30 am

*16-17th: Garden Fest: Martinsville Armory

April

*5th: NestWatch Workshop: 6:30-8:30 pm (County Administration Bldg. Sadler Room). Learn how to participate in this citizen science project. Participants monitor nests, record, & then submit data on nesting birds. This data is used by scientists for research & study. At the workshop, you will learn how to set up boxes/gourds, monitor nesting, and submit data for cavity nesting birds.

*3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st (19th): Nature Photography Classes:Nature photography classes offered for participants who have working knowledge of their cameras and want to improve their photography skills.
